Every Singapore incorporated company requires a minimum of 1 local director. Should your business plans enable you to operate from your country of residence without the need to relocate to Singapore, the need to appoint another person as a local director for your company is essential.
As a nominee director, the appointed person is a director in name only to satisfy the local statutory requirements and he does not have any powers over the business. Terms & Conditions on Provision of Nominee Director
Provision of Nominee Director service is subjected to the following criteria being met:
- Successful "Know-Your-Client" procedures completed and satisfied
- Signing of Nominee Director Indemnity Agreement
- Placement of a refundable deposit of S$5,000 with ContactOne prior to such nominee appointment, and
- The company secretary of the company to be provided by ContactOne, and
- The accounting function and financial reporting of the company is to be prepared by a designated accounting agent of ContactOne Professional Services Pte. Ltd.
- The accounts of the Company are audited by a Singapore audit firm.
